Payments Accepted
All credit card transactions will have a 3.75% charge, which is applied to the total cost of the purchase. This charge is necessary to cover the costs associated with processing the transaction. Claude Michel Salon accepts payments in the form of cash and all major credit cards. Those that pay with cash will not have the 3.75%. Those that tip on the card can also opt to give gratuity to your service provider via cash or Venmo as additional options. Select stylist accept credit card gratuity, please feel free to inquire.
New Guest
We welcome you to Claude Michel salon! If you are booking hair services, we encourage you to share any hair inspiration pictures with your service provider. If you are a color correction, or looking for "fantasy color" we will need to schedule a consultation before hand to help ensure enough time is alotted for your service. If you have long/thick hair please mention at the time of booking or make a note when booking online so we can add additional time. For all new guest, we require a valid credit card at booking to hold your reservation in regards to the cancellation/reschedule policy.
Cancel or Reschedule
If you need to cancel and/or reschedule, we require 48/hrs for reservations booked Tuesday - Friday and 72/hrs for reservations booked Saturday and Sunday. Bookings with Claude or Jess have a 96 hour notice to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so results in a non-refundable/non-transferable 50% charge on the card used to hold your reservation for service(s) booked that day. No call no shows result in a 100% charge. For those that made a deposit, the cancellation policy will charge 100% for not following the above requirements to cancel or reschedule.
Parking
Parking in Old Town is either street or at a near by parking garage. Please allow additional time for parking if it is your first time visiting the salon. Please do not park in the private parking areas in the buildings around us, the owners will tow at your cost. We are located right on South Washington, between Wolfe and Duke street, closer to Wolfe. If you are parking on South Washington street, please be sure to follow the signs as each side has HOV during specific hours.
Gratuity
Service providers accept cash, to their personal Venmo and some service providers accept gratuity on credit card. Please call if you need any details of your service provider.
